Dichondra is a low growing, round-leafed ground cover.  It maintains its green color year-round and does not require regular mowing.

Recommended Uses:
Populary used to create an elegant effect.  Also good for use in partial shade or where mowing is difficult.

Areas of Best Adaptability:
Dichondra is well suited to southern California's warm climate.  However, it requires well-drained soils and cannot tolerate much salinity or traffic.

Winter Color:
Green year-round.

Mowing Height:
One to two inches high, mowed every two weeks.
